Well, it depends on your time horizon. If you want to make $3000 out of $450 in the short then I agree with the first responder, vegas, robbing, kidnapping etc are the only option.

But if you are serious about investing then open an investment account with Bank Of America, Zecco, AmeriTrade or anyone else (there are hundreds of them in the market) and put your $450 in the stock market to work for you. In the long term you can gain lots of money, well I am not saying $3000.. Keep in mind there is always a risk of losing money in any investment.

Do some studying of genealogy. If you go back three, or even two thousand years ago, just about everybody on this planet is distantly related to everyone else. Only in the weird cases of inbreeding tribes, with almost no contact to the rest of the world, would there be even somewhat, "PURE" people.

Wars have not stopped for all of our history. Rape is one of the undeniable consequences of war. The OT is the best example possible. Women were considered property & the virgin "girls" were not killed, but divided between the conquerors. And, none of them were called Jews.

We are all genetically related. Can anyone name anybody on this planet who knows their ancestry past 5, or even 4 generations? Can anyone trace back, the bloodlines of all of their great great great grandparents? That would mean they did excellent record keeping & have documents that prove that there were no unrecorded births, no parents who pretended to be the real parents, but were not, & no politically or religiously altered records. Do you know how likely it is, that most people come from unsure roots, if you go back 3 or 4 hundred years?

Complete, accurate, & trustworthy genealogy studies going past 200 years is difficult, 300 years is unlikely, 400 years is next to impossible. We are not even close to that two or three thousand years.
